Otocinclus cocama "Zebra"
Altum angel tank is a mess of diatoms ( despite getting 75% water changes every three days) and routine filter cleanings. Im assuming its diatoms- whatever it is it looks like that is the culprit. Anyways, thought a perfect time to get some Otocinclus cocama
"Zebra." Added 5 of the Zebra and also 5 very small Hypoptopoma sp. Peru "Orange" from Wetspot.
The Zebras are large and robust and all 5 still fine in morning. The Orange- counted three this morning. Being so small I decided to move them out of the tank with the Angels. Not saying they did eat them- but... dont put it past a cichlid.
You can see where in 24 hours they have already cleaned off the crypt spiralis leaves. If these aren't diatoms all over the leaves of the plants- they are at least food to them.
