1st time using API GH/KH tests HELP?

Ok I finally go these in the mail.. and was in a rush to get on the road when they arrived..
so thought I'd test really quick (thought it would be color coded like other tests-ha)

and I don't understand. or have time to youtube right now as I'm about to be driving..

but I got 4 drops for KH and 9 for GH.

20g long with Otos, Corydoras Pygmaeus, RCS and Nerites

2.6 gal nano planted Sparkling gourami breeding tank

2 gal planted Betta Splendens tank

10 g planted with Sparkling Gourami fry

4 drops equals 4 German degrees of hardness. 9 drops equals 9 degrees of hardness.

It's pretty middle of the road. Not too hard, not too soft. Corys, otos, and RCS should be fine in water like that. If you wanted to breed soft water fish or keep more sensitive soft water fish (discus, altum angels), you might have to do something about it, but otherwise, shouldn't be a problem as long as it's stable.

Sorry just got a lot going on and haven't been able to research this as much right now until I get my 10g sparkling gourami "family" tank setup..
but YES that's what's in the 20g long. RCS (which the first group I got didn't do well.. not sure if water or what).. otos (got a great group now I think) and c. pygmaeus.
