Do EI liquid fertilizers cause elevated nitrate levels?

I suppose it would depend on how much plants you have. I would normally reduce Nitrate than what EI would call for. At the end of the week I test nitrates before a water change it was higher than I liked (30+) I would reduce the amount I would use the next week.

Now I'm having the opposite problem at the end of the week my nitrates are below 10 before the 50% water change. I'm now adding more then I did the previous week. EI is a starting point you can tweak it so It works for your tank.

Currently I'm getting around 30 PPM on my Nitrates levels and starting to have problem with algae. Should I reduce the Nitrate level with something like APIŽ Crystal Bio-Chem Zorb?

I would just do a water change and not add any potassium nitrate

I'm new to this. Is potassium nitrate part of the EI liquid fertilizers?
