CSM without Boron

Ok, I've got a bag of CSM with out boron which I've had for a long time and will have for a long time (bout a pound). Should I get the CSM+B? Is boron essential to some particular aspect of a plant's growth?

Yea you need Boron, you could buy a new CSM+B packet or just buy some boron to add to it.

You could use a chelated Boron which is sold in stores along with other minerals and vitamins. I use 'Puritan's Pride' brand as a food additive. Vial with 100 tablets cost $4.49 and they continously run specials - now is buy one and get one free. Look them up on Internet. Boron in this case comes as pills containg 3mg of chelated Boron. All you need is to grind it or otherwise pulverize it and add to your mix. You would have to calculate how much according to what % of Boron contains CSM+B. Simple enough.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I ordered a lb of CSM-B so we'll see if that has any effect on the plants.
