dosing dry 10% chelated iron

Anybody else dosing this dry? If you are, how much are you dosing? I'm dosing using the pinch dash smidgen spoons. A smidgen or two 3 times a week. That's a 32nd of a teaspoon or so. In a 55 gallon tank. I don't really want to mix a solution and I've not seen a formula for dry dosing. I'm thinking that's not much.BTW I'm not concerned that it will cause an algae outbreak.

Are you mixing it into a solution or are you dosing dry? I'm dosing 1/8 tsp 3-4 times a week 10% Fe into a 55.

Fe won't cause an algae outbreak nor will ferts in general that's a light/co2 issue.

I dose dry and I've never bothered to spread it around since the water column will do that for you.
