Question Trouble With API Ammonia Reading: 0 or 0.25

I have recently migrated from strips to an API liquid test kit, comparing results from them both. I only have trouble with the ammonia reading I can not tell if it reads 0 or 0.25 usually my strips read completely clear of ammonia. The 0ppm seems like a dark yellow I have never seen that color in the tube, what do you think? Maybe 0.15ppm??

Try reading it in a different manor. Take something plane white and set it on a table. Then take the tube and stand it on top of the white piece. Take the cap off of the test tube and look down the tube. I find this works better for some tests.

I took your image into Photoshop, corrected the white balance, and brightened the swatches to match the liquid. According to the color value numbers (RGB & LAB) it looks closer to the 0.25 swatch.

+1 That makes the color very apparent.

I did this too, and it washed out the first two pallet's making it harder so I chose not to upload the PS version.
