Anyone know how long does a 20oz paintball bottle lasts? and how large an aquarium can this bottle support?

Thanks

I get roughly 1-2 months out of my 20oz bottles on my 20G. If you want longer I have heard of 40oz bottles. I highly suggest a PH controller though, tank dump sucks.

I get 3 to 4 weeks from a 20 oz on a 46 Gallon aquarium. I just added a solenoid a week ago so, I might get slightly more now.

Hey El Heb...

I have a 20 oz paintball tank on my 29 gallon tank. Took about 6 weeks for the tank to drain using a solenoid. Unfortunately the solenoid (which was new when I bought it) lasted only another week or so after replacing the tank... I now turn the co2 off by hand every night and turn it back on in the AM.

Thanks for your replies

I think i'll go for a paintball bottle, it's cheaper, but it's also harder to find a regulator.
The paintball store offered to change the pin-valve of the bottle for a ON-OFF valve. This doesn't have a pin and can be turned on-off at will. Can i connect a standard regulator to this on-off valve? Or is the Hydor rechargeable system compatible with a paintball bottle?

How do you hook it up?

Thanks

no man use the Smart parts On/off valve it screws right into the standard regulator and hooks up to the paintball cylinders
i used this before and it lasted me like 2 months for a 18g tank
