Florin axis is mix of humic acid, citric acid, Epsom salt, sodium citrate, protein hydrolase, and Kelp extract. I personally have no practical experience with it but am curious to learn. I suspect its action stimulates the same chemistry as in marshes where the organic substrate produces CO2 for plants.

We all know that the Glutaraldehyde (the active element in Excel/Metricide) is simply a carbon source for plants.

I cannot compare the two but I hope someone with experience of both can chip in here.

Cheap Excel is Metricide 14 day, which is glut plus water, to a 2.8% concentration of glut. I don't think there is any other cheaper or more widely available alternative to Excel.

Glutaraldehyde (Flourish Excel) = Proven performance among many hobbyists.

Florin Axis = A lot of questions and Advertising that it works. i.e. "snake oil"

Just my humble opinion
