my dry fert recipe

Hi guys, got my hands on same clay and wanted to experiment with dry fert options.

I'm thinking of making clay balls with dry (EI) ferts attached to them.

my question is:- is it ok if i mix both macro and micro ferts in the same clay ball? and can i have too much ferts that it causes the plants to melt?

thanks

If you mix a phosphorus fertilizer with iron then they can combine in a way that neither is available to the plants.

If the clay balls dissolve too fast then there is a risk of too much fertilizer becoming available too fast. Bury the clay balls really well press them in all the way to the bottom of the tank, not just sort of push them in a bit.

You are embarking into a highly uncontrollable way of fertilising the tank.

If you have a choice, you have a problem, till you elect your choice. No choice, no problem, only consequences, learn to live with them.
