Noob CO2 Question

Hello,

I have been adding DIY yeast-fermented CO2 to my tank since I started it 3 weeks ago. Initially my drop checker was light green, and now it is dark green. I would guess I have about 10ppm CO2. My question is, is it worth it and will I see a difference with my plants growing faster if I add more CO2 to get it up to 25ppm? The obvious answer sounds like yes... Maybe I am thinking about it too hard but if I add more CO2 would my plants even utilize it? Because it seems right now they aren't fully utilizing the 10ppm or else it would be 0ppm meaning they ate it all and are looking for more.

I have a 10 gallon tank with a 96watt aqualight, which by the way is very loud. Are Coralife Aqualights supposed to be loud? It's probably a little louder than a cheap air pump.

Thanks.

96W is way too much light. try 20-40watts.

I got a 96W because I wanted my plants to grow like weeds. I was trying to find like a 30-40W bulb but I couldn't find many options that fit such a small tank. If I keep the algae under control, can I get away with it? Some plants are growing very fast but a couple others like pellia are turning into green potato chips.

Mistergreen is right 96watt is way way to much. I had 48 on my 10 gallon and had to
screen it down or the algae would explode.
