Talk to me about my GH/KH/TDS

So,

My TDS is 400-500 (Tap is 350ish)

My GH out of the tap is about 8 in tank is about 10
My KH out of tap is 0-1 and in tank is about 2
PH is around 6.8 no Co2 and goes down to 6.3ish

What should I be doing? Should I switch to 50/50 RO - Tap water changes?

I've been losing fish about 1-2 a week lately. Shrimp seem to have a hard time molting while some molt fine, others appear to kick the bucket mid molt.

Tank:
66 Gallon (120P)
Eheim 2075
Co2 through a reactor
2 - Current Sat Plus Pro's
Amazonian Soil

Your water seems to have lots of other salts/minerals besides calcium. Try using RO or distilled water with added gH Booster (calcium & magnesium) for a few weeks and see if that improves. Messing with water chemistry is a pain but if it saves your animals, it might be worth it.

How often do you change the water?

Let us know what you keep, shrimp and fish and we let you know what water chemistry you need.

Do a minimum 50% change every week (also EI dosing). Lately I've been adding in 1 or 2 smaller changes during the week as well.

LOL.....there's a few guys in chicago saying exactly this right now as well; and it caused Mattingly to look for a new gig! Hey theres always next year right? (.....saying that gets old quick and as a Mets fan I'm all too familiar with that phrase)
