Dosing a 2.5g with Flourish

2.5g Tank
Finnex Stingray 12" light
Caribsea black Sand

I will have dwarf hairgrass in the tank and a few other plants.

I was wondering how much I should dose for that plant? Also, should I dose flourish comprehensive supplement or flourish Exel, or both? If so please tell me the amount and how often.

Thanks.

According to the instructions (5ml for 60 gal.) you should use about 3 drops twice weekly.

I don't know about dwarf hairgrass, but some plants get most of their nutrients from the water and other from the substrate. You might want to consider using Seachem's Flourish Tabs.

Excel is a disinfectant that also inhibits algae growth. It quickly breaks down into carbon
which helps the plant get more than if it weren't in there. Only last a few hrs though so
daily dosing = a consistent supply for the plants.
Comprehensive is a full micro fert. But you need macro AND micro ferts. This link will be helpful if you decide to use liquid ferts. FertFriend
Be sure to scroll the page down.
DHG won't do well in there but Marcelea Minuto might. DHG usually needs a good substrate that has nutrients in it. No harm to try it however.
If you are using the liquid ferts I'd also get Potassium. That one is used the most by plants and is in short supply from water changes and or fish food which both actually supply some nutrients.

Potassium content for comprehensive...
2ml dose for a 10L tank(2.5g)

The above amount adds:
.74 ppm of soluble Potash
This is the recommended dosing level in ppm
NO3 range 5-30 ppm
K+ range 10-30 ppm
PO4 range 1.0-3.0 ppm
So in order to get that 5-30 ppm level you would need to dose 15 ml in a 2.5g tank to get 5.55ppm

Which is 52.4% by mass of potassium, the remaining 47.6% being chloride.

0.74 * 0.524 = 0.388 ppm K.

Instructions call for 5ml in 60g (227L). Adding 2ml to 10L is 9x recommended dosage.

1ml Ecell for 5gl daily is fine for most of the plants.
