It is a good way to get started with fertilizer.

Fish food tends to be low in K and Fe.

Leaf Zone is K and Fe. A very good supplement to fish food as a fertilizer.

Ultimately, you are paying for the shipping and handling of water.
If all you have is one small tank, maybe that is OK. But if you want to save money, buy the dry active ingredients and add your own water.

Where do you get the dry ingredients ?

Get some rusted nails and add some special K?

Is that something you can buy from Petco or Petsupermarket?

Thanks.

I don't even add my own water. I got mine from nilocg (he is a user on here or you can just add .com). GLA also sells them.

ETA: I mean I just spoon in the dry ferts without mixing in water first.
