How Can I Estimate PPS-PRO?

I dont have a scale around my house, and my parents think i am insane for having a planted tank, so there is no way i can buy one. is it possible to estimate using tsp how much i should put in a 500ml dosing bottle?

In my opinion that's really hard to do unless you have a lot of experience.

However a scale is not expensive at all. Here is one example (offsite) -
Most people can come up with the $7.50 for one.

PPS pro is just another way to gestimate how much nutrients your plants need- I can tell you fo sho my 30 high tech and 29 low tech use VASTLY different amounts of fertilizers - if you're off by 10% in your measurements for your solutions its not that big a deal.

sohankpatel, go to the fertilator, they have a conversion chart based on the chemical.
at the top there is a drop down menu labeled "calculation type" This is the one you want

for example, 1tps of K2so4 weighs 6.4 grams, you want 69 grams per liter, so in 500ml you want about 5tsp

The plural of anecdote is not data
