How to dose e.i. dry ferts.

I have been dumping the dry ferts straight into the tank
And have also been stirring it in a cup of water until dissolved and introducing it that way.

What is the proper way to dose dry ferts into the tank?

I use the percent type measuring spoons like 1/8th, 1/16th etc and just dump it into my filter before I made liquid solutions out of the dry ferts.
I do restaurant supply shops occasionally and I have a couple of those small plastic cups that they use for giving you butter/w your meal. I just put all the required ferts into it to carry it to the tank. Nothing special needed though.
I'm going to try this liquid version out for a while. @ 500ml each bottle being used
in 5 ml doses will last for half a year in the micros since I dose those twice a week
and the Macros will last a year for only dosing them once a week.
Kept in the fridge/w 10ml of Excel added to the micros to retard mold it should last.
If you like that idea the formula is in the first thread on the fert section.
I do have a 10g that they go in however. Those 500ml bottles won't last that long/w a larger tank.

So dumping the dry ferts straight in the tank will suffice?

I personally mix them up in a tupperware container before dumping them in the tank

But just dump it in dry right and let it dissolve in the tank?

Since my filter has no carbon I let the filter mix it for me.
Well, before I went to the liquid form.
