10 seachem flourish root tabs
10 root tabs (aquariumfertilizers.com) they says contains 20 trace elements
4L of Flourish Excell

Now What do I do? EI method? Can you give me a weekly routine? in laymans terms
I have a small digital scale if it helps...

I havent started the tank yet but I am hoping to have HC

MWF: 3/4 KNO3, 1/4 K2SO4, 1/4 KH2PO4
TTH: 3/4 CSM+B
Saturday: Drink Beer
Sunday: Waterchange after lights out.

I tend to dose "+" a bit on all the above.
That's what I do on my 75g. Usually more beer interspersed though, but I can't recommend that to others in good conscience.

Tsp. You can dose in a cup of tank water if you wish. I dose directly into the tank.

Use Excel per the instructions just after a water change, if you wish. Otherwise, just use to spot-treat algae should it arise. You won't use PMDD. Someone else can comment on GH booster. I've no need for the stuff.

Anything you want should grow in that setup, depending on hardness and other minor details for the more difficult plants.

I have heard that my nuts are good stuff, but I'm not interested in hooking up, thanks though.

You can put in 1 tsp of GH Booster right after your Sunday water change for the extra bit of K2SO4, CaSO4, MgSO4, FeSO4, MnSO4 trace to help buffer your water. I use it with my tap water without any negative effects.

Dosing suggestions for NPK and traces so far are good.

Not sure why you bought the PMDD mix, PMDD is a pre-mix used if you follow the PMDD dosing regime. You don't need to use it if you are going to be dosing EI style.

You may also not need to add the GH booster unless your GH is low. Two teaspoons of GH booster in 40 gallons of water raises the GH 3 dGH (60 ppm). I believe that 9 dGH is considered a good target but GH level isn't as critical as KH. Low KH seems better for growing most plants and the GH booster won't affect your KH. Tom Barr recommends adding 1-2 tsps of GH booster for a 75 gallon tank.

CSM+B should give you enough iron without adding extra. Save the Flourish iron you won't need it unless for some reason you end up with a deficiency.

If you are new to CO2 as well as dosing it would not hurt to add Excel daily at the recommended dose. Will help plant growth and with algae prevention until you learn how to get your CO2 levels dialed in. Proper Excel dosage is 1 ml per 10 gallons daily, they suggest adding an initial dose of 5 ml for every 10 gallons after a water change of greater than 40%. The dosing instructions on my last 4 liter bottle were wrong, they claim that 5 ml is one capful... since the caps on the big bottles are actually 10 ml you would end up seriously overdosing if you followed the instructions so in case your bottle is mislabeled remember that the cap on the 4 liter bottle holds 10 ml and the smaller Seachem bottles come with 5 ml caps.

Flourish comprehensive is similar to CSM+B. You don't need to use both.

Great info! Thanks. What is a good starting bubble rate 1 bubble/per sec? I should get my test kit in soon and I'll see where my gh and kh are at.

Bubble rate depends on too many factors to give a simple answer.

Get a drop checker. Best $20 I ever spent.
