EI on a 2.5

Hey guys I dose EI on my 20 gallon and everything is doing great but now I want to do the same on my 2.5 gallon. I have been trying to figure out how much of KNO3, KH2PO4, and CSM+B to add but I dont have a gram scale. It is getting kinda complicated trying to use a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon to do this. Anyone have any suggestions or any regimens they follow when dosing a 2.5?

Use the same amount as for your 20g, but dilute it with 10oz water. 1oz = 1 dose.

for my 20g I mix into a gallon milk jug, 16 cups. Then I dose 1 cup a day. I suppose I could try dilluting it...but it would take too much thinking for my mathematically challenged brain.

For example, EI for a 20-40gal aquarium recommends 1/4 tsp KNO3 3x weekly. I add 4 teaspoons to a milk jug and add a cup of the mixture on MWF. This gives me 16 dosages, then I remix.

On tanks that small, you really have to dose liquid if you don't have a very accurate digital scale, unless you have 1/64 1/128 etc tsp.

I dose EI on my 2.5g. I'm not 100% sure on the amounts, but it's EI so being a bit high won't hurt.
1.5tsp KNO3
1tsp K2SO4
1tsp KH2Po4
3tsp Plantex CSM+B

I dissolved these in their own 500mL containers, and dose them as follows
5mL KNO3
3mL K2SO4
1mL KH2Po4
I dose this Sun/Tues/Thurs

3-5mL Plantex CSM+B
This is dosed Mon/Wed/Fri

Combine this with a 50% water change on Sunday (for me at least) and my results have been great!

Most of the foo-foo kitchen/bath stores will have measuring spoons in the 1/16, 1/32 range plus a digital scale from Wal-Mart's kitchen section is about $20.

Thanks rrrramos, those amounts seem to check out pretty well with the fertilator.....I have a 5ml syringe so I could probably mimick your dosing fairly well. I think I will give that a try! Thanks again!
