Help with ferts please

I have a 29 gallon tank that has been running around 2 weeks.

Some tank info:

Pressurised CO2
2" organic soil capped with 2"sand
heavily planted (random trimmings bought from classifieds here from 4 different people)
30" Finnex Planted Plus LED

I'm a weird learner.. I read and read, but nothing really sticks until I start with something.

Can you recommend a start for fertilizers so I can get going? I put some root tabs (osmocote+) in at first. Haven't added any since. Im kinda lost at what I should do from here.

Would this package be good to start? EI based NPK +B from NILOCG Aquatics

You may already have too much light.
With it being heavily planted it may work for you and not have any noticeable algae
problems. Forgot you have injected CO2..should be fine.
It's a good fert package. You may need iron added as some plants need more than what is in the CSM+B.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...

Yes, the NILOCG fert package is a good, easy plan to get you started. PM him with any questions you have and he will promptly answer them.

I have his NPK+CSM-b and I added the Iron. You may also want to consider the Gh booster.

I filled/labelled 1/2 pint mason jars with each fert.
Ordered one of these
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002Y3YI72?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
Then all I do is every afternoon when I get home from work and check on the tank/feed, I just dump the ferts into the the output of my HOB filter as per the every other day schedule, couldn't be easier, and I noticed a difference in my plants the first week!

My ST. repens finally started carpeting after starting the regiment.

OK cool.. I ordered it plus the iron. I hope it comes with stupid-proof instructions! haha

Thank you for the responses. I also appreciate the Amazon link. Ordered that too.

I do it...its stupid proof....
this is the non Gh schedule go to the website and you will see the chart with Gh booster.

dose your iron at 1/2th rate of your micro dose..with your MICRO's(if that makes sense)

And NO don't skip the water changes!
Part of the EI theory is water changes...
Your algae will hate the water changes too!
