So I'm ordering the EI kit off GLA, are there any recommendations for other ferts I should get in addition to the kit?

Here's what the kit comes with:

Are you getting EI Kit or PPS-Pro. You listed the PPS-Pro fert package but said EI kit in your subject.

If you tell us more about your tank we can help better. Are you using co2? How much light, what size tank? Do you know if you have hard or soft water?

Oh wait, or this one! Just not sure which is the better route to go?
Our Estimative Index E.I. fertilizer package includes:

Micros -

Plantex CSM + B - 1 / 2 Pound
Macros -

Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) - 1 Pound
Mono Potassium Phosphate (KH2PO4) - 1 / 2 Pound
Potassium Sulfate (K2SO4) - 1 Pound

I have a 5 gal and a 29 gal. Lights stay on anywhere from 8-10 hours. Azoo flex mini on the 5 and finnex planted+ on the 29 gal. I have hard water and I am injecting CO2 on my 29 at the moment. I was injecting on my 5 but some of the leaves on the plants started turning clear and the guy at the LFS said I'm probably injecting too much CO2 and to turn it off for a little while

Ya that one will work, but not sure why they name it after EI dosing, its not really setup with ratios correct for ei dosing so you will run out of kno3 4x over before you use all the k2so4.

Either way, that package should be most everything that you will need.

Nilocg is also very helpful and will beat any price.

NilOCG Aquatics

I would go with his EI BASED NPK + CSM+B personally.

You should get a GH booster too, in case your water is a bit low on magnesium out of the tap.

I will recommend to start at 1/8 EI and ramp up as needed.

EI is based on fully planted, fully tuned and maximized plant nutrient uptake.

Avoid any issues and start much slower than recommended, and just make sure you don't get too low on everything first.
