First dosing attempt

So, here we go.

I'm going to start dry dosing. I'm using a schedule I picked off of Tom Barr's site for a 29 gallon, even though mine is a 65. I'm lazier than I should be with water changes, and the tank is modestly planted. My CO2 is less than CO2 for various reasons, so I assume my uptake is reduced.

Days 1, 3, 5: 1/4tsp KNO3, 1/16tsp KH2PO4, 1/16 K2SO4
Days 2, 4, 6: 1/16tsp CSM+B

Right now I dose 3 caps of Flourish per day, so that is what I think I am replacing.

Let me know if you think I am about to make a major mistake, otherwise I will keep you update to date on what happens in my journal which you can see in my sig.

the csm+b is replacing the Flourish. the others are supplementing what you are getting from your tap water and fish waste. what you are doing is fine, I would recommend testing to see what the plants are using. and adjust accordingly. I tried this on a smaller tank (less ferts and bi-weekly water changes) and had an increase in algae. but it was still manageable.

I know enough to know that I don't know anything

Thanks for the input.
