Hi, early on I kept just a basic planted tank with stock lighting in a fluorite substrate. But now I've really gotten interested in keeping a well planted tank. Have an assortment of med to high lights plants in the tank, they seem to be doing alright, but I'm sure they could do better.
Read up on dosing on various sites and in these forums, and think I'm only getting more confused.
The 55g has a coral light fixture on it with 260watt, but I only use 130watts of lighting. 6700k spectrum compact fluorescent. Usually leave the lights on 7 hours or so, around 10am to 5pm.
Here is a list of the fertilizers I was given by someone. They are in powder form.
- Mono Potassium Phosphate 0-50-30 says to add 1L H20 to 3/4 tsp of MSP? to get 0.3% P205 and 0.2% K2SO4
- Plantex CSM+B
Is it possible for me to mix all of them into a bottle and pour out required amounts for the 55g? Not really sure how to go about it.
Also I have a bottle of Seachem Fluorish Iron. That seems easy enough to use just 1ml per 10g it says.
Are there any other things I should consider getting?
