Water parameters?

I am slowly getting there...I think. I have 72 gallon bow front with fish since November. I have now added plants and CO2 and now my water parameters are nirate 5.0 / phosphate 0.5 / amonia 0/ GH 6 / KH 2 / nitrite.05 / PH 6.4 my ph had been stable at 7.4 did it change because of the CO2 and am I putting my fish at risk? They are all loooking fine right now. How do you deal with the ph change? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

pH drop of 1 degree is fine won't hurt the fish. Nitrite is odd though on a cycled tank.

Nitrate is a little low in a planted tank should be around 20-25. And the phosphates should be around 1.5 - 2.0. I would dose just a little more. But ph is expected mine changed about the same aswell. dont bother doing anything about the ph. Messing with that will be more of a pain than anything. Nitrite is odd aswell it should be at 0 but I doint think this will cause any harm. I would do another test.

Link to a thread where I wrapped my noodle around this very same question.
https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/wa...h-hazards.html

Tank KH levels are now held to 2dKH. CO2 pushed pH readings as low as 6.14 when I check my controllers average reading is 6.2pH. Fish are not affected at all.
