RO units that don't need to be attached to sinks

Well...are there any? I am no good with plumbing related tasks and would like to still have tap water available for fish that don't need RO water for any reason (livebearers, for instance)

None of them really need a sink. You just need a hose type fitting to connect to and somewhere to drain. When I had one I installed a hose type valve on a cold water pipe in the basement and connected to that.

Big fan of Bulk Reef Supply(BRS) for ro units.
MANY choices and good quality.
Some of the kits come with 3 options to hook up with.

http://spectrapure.com/Refurbished-90-GPD-RODI-System

$125 plus shipping for a high quality RO with DI resin. You don't need the DI resin if you just want RO, you can either remove and sell the DI resin or you can hook up a three way valve to the line that goes from the RO membrane to the DI resin so that you can have RO only or DI for ultra pure water.

BRS can't touch Spectrapure's quality, especially in the RO membrane and DI resin. The membrane is treated to get more GPD out of it with less TDS, so the same 75GPD Dow membrane becomes a minimum 90GPD, and far higher if you have high pressure going to it.
