can we dose csm+b dry into tank?

i was just reading the dosing regime sticky and it seem that its saying its ok to dry does csm+b. thats what i extrapolated anyways. so can i just dry dose it instead of mixing it in water? the mix always seems to solidify after a week or so anyways and seems like a pain. dry dosing would be preferable if its just as effective.

CSM+B settles out into fine grains to finer grains and then to a powder. I shake my bag a bit before dosing. I want to try to make sure that I am dosing some of everything that is in CSM+B.

Someone mentioned doing this a few years back when dosing CSM+B dry. It made sense to me and I have been doing it ever since.

Never thought about that. Thanks for pointing that out.

I like dosing liquids myself. Just use distilled water (not tap or tank) to mix it up, and keep the mix in the fridge. A 250ml solution gets pretty much used up by the time it starts to gunk up. Instead of the day or two it takes at room temp. Just don't mistake it for juice later on.
