RO/DI water for top-off

I am using tap water for my planted tank for waterchanges. When i top off every other day, i use RO/DI water from my system to not increase the minerals and salinity of the tank water. Should i condition the top off water with ro right or some other reconstituting substance or not? Right now i am just topping off about 1 cup per 2 days with regular RO/DI water which has a ph of 6.8. And my tap ph is 7.5. What would be the best?

Thanks

I see no need to reconstitute the water in your case

Hello fellow Arizonan, I read your post and was wondering what your tank set up was. Pics if you got them. I am thinking about using tap water instead of ro in my planted tank. Im curious to know what works in our area.

Thanks,
Pat
