Foam, water parameters fine?

The last few days, I've been getting foaming on the top of my tank, along with a thinnish, very thinnish, film. Intense ripple, water parameters OK, CO2 injection normal (roughly 30); the only thing I've done recently is I've begun adding in Seachem's Stability, as a safeguard measure, having changed the bioload in the tank recently, and I added in a grouping of L. peruensis.

Any thoughts as to what this is? Fish are fine, eating, out and about, etc., plants growing very well.

I'd say it's probably protein. That is generally what a surface film and foaming or bubbles indicates. You can suck the film off with a siphon or try to corral it with a paper towel. Given the make up of Seachem's Stability, I'd expect it to clear in about a week.

Wondering why it's developed all of a sudden....if anything, I've reduced the bioload by moving a school into another tank. All that's in my 20H now is 4 cardinals, 3 otos, 1 BN pleco, a few amanos.
