Exclamation Excellent Link- Re: Comparison of Dechlorinators

With so many water dechlorinators out there, it can be difficult to choose to make an informed decision about which one may be best. I personally purchase Prime as it is the most cost effective vs other dechlorinators and highly rated.

This is an excellent link comparing the effectiveness of different water dechlorinators.

Yeah, I'm a prime kinda guy as well. I don't remember why. Must have been my LFS who said it was the best...

EDIT: Oops, forgot: Thanks for posting this article, it's very useful!

Prime is much more concentrated than any other product I know of (feel free to correct me if there is another), that makes it perfect for large water changes!

Seachem makes another product called AquaVitro Alpha that is even more concentrated than Prime. It is designed for reef tanks, but I've been using it in one of my planted tanks without problems.

+1 for Seachem's stuff here, too

Got Plants?-6 CO2 + 12 H2O → C6H12O6 + 6 O2 + 6 H2O

I used Prime and 2 other brands before, but now I just use some cheap Pond Water conditioner from Walmart/K-mart. This thing lasts forever (whole bottle can treat thousands of gallons)

I've used Prime mainly, but I've recently been using some API Stress Coat as well. I picked up the API Stress Coat in a box lot deal off of Craigslist, so basically I'm just trying to get it gone.
