magnesium sulfate

is (Mg2SO4 * 7H2O) and (MgSO4) the same? cause the 1st one was from rex grigg's site and the 2nd from gla.

and also is it necessary to use it along with the PPS-Pro formula? can i just leave it out and just does NPK and micros?

thanks in advance

this can explain it better than I

Adding Mg depends on your tap water (GH). I usually add small amounts of Ca & Mg to my tank. Whenever I see my new leaves deformed, I add Ca, Mg, and a little more micros to fix the problem.
