Dry Fertz Question

When you dose dry fertz, do you turn off your filter for about an hour or so or leave it on. I have a xp2 filter with just carbon, bio media and the sponges.

Take the carbon out of your filter, where it hopefully isn't doing anything, and you won't have to worry about it pulling your fertz out of the water.

yeah, use some purigen. it works the same as carbon but it wont take away the good stuff.

i add mine in the morning, they're in little pill capsules and i just dump them right in, the dissolve really easily and the plants love them. ive never seen my rotala so red!!

I agree with monkeyruler. Remove carbon add purigen. I add mine in the morning before lights go on. I add them right in front of the spray bar so they get spread around.
