my EI schedule...advice?

I have a 72 gallon bowfront, and I estimate I have about 60 gallons in the water column.....

here is my schedule:

Sunday 50% water change
Monday, Wed, Friday
1/2 tsp KNO3
1/4 tsb K2SO4
1/8 tsp KH2PO4

Tue, Thur, Saturday

3/4 tsp Plantex CSM+B
5 ml Flourish

What say yee....shoudl i increase, decrease? I like the way the tank grows....but just curious if this looks ideal? Oh, 4 54 watt T5 bulbs with a 9 hour photo period. I inject CO2....

Thanks,
Chris

Many people add the macros on the same day after the water change instead of skipping a day like you have posted. Is there a reason why you are doing it different.

Do you need to add more than 1/8 tsp of K2SO4 or any K2SO4 at all?

Do you need to add any Mg or Ca?

Aren't you adding way too much Fe? These calculations came from APC's fertilator.

Your Fe plan for 60g of water:
5 ml Flourish = 0.22 ppm Fe
3/4 tsp CSM+B = 0.93 ppm Fe
Total Fe: 1.15 ppm Fe

Sticky Fe plan for 60g of water:
1/8 tsp CSM+B = 0.15 ppm Fe
Optional Fe via Flourish Iron:
2 mL = 0.09 ppm of Fe to 4 mL= 0.18 ppm Fe
Total Fe using 1/8 tsp CSM+B only = 0.15 ppm Fe
Total Fe using 1/8 tsp CSM+B and 2 mL F. Iron = 0.24 ppm Fe
Total Fe using 1/8 tsp CSM+B and 4 mL F. Iron = 0.33 ppm Fe

These dosing are from the sticky above. https://www.plantedtank.net/forums/wa...-regimes_.html

PS: All I can offer are questions and a bit of data. You will be the one to find out what works in your aquarium.

well I obviously made some serious mathmatical mistakes on the csm-b. I have adjusted per your recommendation...but I need to go back and review my math on that one. As for the others I thought I had calced those values based on some other sites... I am going to make some adjustments just to see how it goes....

Do you know what your GH is? If it is low, you can add GH Booster or Seachem's Equilibrium. Also, some people have found that their GH is primarily Ca and they dose Mg via Epsom Salt (Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate MgSO4∙7H2O). There is a Mg calculator on the fertilator at APC. Also Seachem's new site has calculators for many of their products.
