Root tabs and other ferts

I have 20g tall with 12 plants.

All are doing great except my 3 Ludwigia. I have had to replace few of the Ludwigia over time. They always lose their bottom leaves. Some of the plants will develope soft stems and others will grow very fast with healthy top leaves but, never regrow bottom leaves.

Currently

44w T5 light on 8 hours a day
2ML of Excel Every other day
2ML of Iron once a week
3ML of Potassium Twice a week

Was thinking of adding root tabs. If I add root tabs can I continue to add the other ferts?

Root tabs may help. With your current dosing you are missing most of all the micros as well as nitrogen and phosphate.

Yes, you can add root tabs in addition to your current fertilizers, but I think that a proper liquid dosing regimen would result in more improvement.

As mentioned, you are only dosing iron, and not any other micronutrients, and are also missing a source of nitrogen and phosphorus.
