Co2 questions

Started my diy co2 today , (1) how long does it take to start producing bubbles from new mix? (2) what do I need to watch out for trouble wise ? (3) what are signs of too much Co2 ? Running only one 2 liter bottle on a 30 gal tank to start do you think that will produce enough co2
This co2 stuff is all new to me so any advice or pointers are deff welcome and appreciated Thanks All

1) It should take about 24 hours at most for some bubbles to be seen. Otherwise, the most probable cause of not seeing bubbles is a leak somewhere a long the line.

2) Leaks are the main concern. If you have a leak, then you will not see any CO2 production inside the aquarium.

3) It is unlikely you will run into too much CO2 since you are using only a single 2L bottle on a 30 gallon aquarium. However, CO2 poisoning will manifest itself as fish gasping at the surface of the water.
