EI ferts

Recently ordered some EI ferts. What dosage should I put in my 75g tank with 1 single t8, using manufactures recommended dosage excel? (I plan on ordering stronger lights soon and probably co2 after the christmas season. I wonder what my dad's reaction would be if I told him I wanted a co2 tank when he asks what I want.... )

Use calc.petalphile.com and use the "EI Low light" dosing schedule.

Just tell it your tank size, that you are using DIY fertilizers, and it will tell you the dry dosage amounts needed.

You can also do things like mix 10x the dose into 100ml of water, then use 10ml of it at a time as DIY liquid fertilizer. This can at times be helpful when doses are too small to measure out singly.

Thanks! I'll check that out! I got some of those tiny measuring spoons too, so measuring shouldn't be a problem.

Keep In mind all tanks are different and some will require more of one thing and less of others.

Watch your plants and look for deficiencies. Dose regularly and make changes slowly if you have to.

Yep, I know. Was just looking for a starting point. Eagerly awaiting their arrival now. My swords could sure use them!
