Talking different ferts and dosing supplements

i just started up a 55gl planted tank and i know nothing about fertilizers or additives such as the sechams or dry ferts. Some advice on what to get / use would be amazing as of right now i have some jungle vals, java ferns, and tall grass that i have forgotten the name. aqueon colormax t5 light, caribsea flora max planted aquarium substrate is what i have as of right now. i just put the plants in today and would really like to seem them start to propagate and grow. i dont want to throw my parameters all out of funk as well. so any help would be amazing

Is the T5 a NO or is it a HO type ?
Fish food/waste will support a few plants if it's NO type bulbs.
You may need to add some if it's HO type or more of the plants are intended.
I would suggest you read up on the principle before buying any ferts.
f you put "darkblade" into members search and clic on "about me" there is "an introduction to planted tanks" that will help you a lot to understand what it's about.

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line...in the opposite direction...
