Has anyone tried Nualgi Aquarium?

I am not sure if i am allowed to link this product or not, seems hit or miss on this forum as what is allowed to be linked or not....that being said I ran across this product and like all products it says this and that promises the sun the star and the moon. I can see the logic of how it works, but does it actually work is the question, So has anyone tried it? and what were the results? I know this product is kind of newish but not all that new so I am looking for honest feedback that is not on their site.....

No.
But it looks like it is basically just a micro mix from what I found on their website in 2 minutes. Same kind of ingredients as Flourish comp / CSM+B

Probably not as good as buying dry ferts for your $$$

It uses silicones to promote diatom algae growth??? Don't know why you would want to voluntarily subject your tank to diatoms... It claims that diatoms use up resources to take away from algae which seems bogus because you want your plants to do that (healthy plants are the best algaecide for the same reasons that Nualgi claims). Not diatoms. I am unsure if this thinking is off or not but it doesn't make sense to me.

Doesn't look too legit IMO. Would not purchase personally - I like sticking to a simple dry fert routine based on EI.

Again, I could be dead wrong with this post but just wanted to share my initial impressions. Might work wonders - who knows.

I watch algae trends like a hawk for saltwater tank usage, monitor several boards.

magic stuff would take off like wildfire. this stuff is going on about 8 mos oldish, threads arent wow. some hits, more averages, nothing remarkable. several threads exist online about it, fw and marine I say fad.

small old reef tank:
