Iron and potassium with csm+b

I have a 25 gallon with 2 watts per gallon t5 HO's

Was wondering if I could dose Flourish Iron and potassium with dry csm+b.

Or should I just stick to iron and potassium.

I have high light tanks with co2 but when it comes to medium light and no co2 I'm kind of clueless, any help would be much appreciated.

You can dose Fe, K, and CSM+B altogether.

Yes, you can use Flourish Iron and Flourish Potassium with CSM+B, however, there really is no need for the former, as CSM+B will provide the iron that is required. Furthermore, it is much more economical than Flourish Iron (though if you are using it for the sake of using it up, then by all means, continue to do so).

You will need to dose nitrates and phosphates, however, given that you have (what appears to be) high light.

Also, be aware that the WPG guideline does not really apply to anything except for T12 bulbs. T8 and T5 bulbs (and especially T5HO) bulbs are much more efficient, leading to the guideline being non-applicable.

2 wpg from T-5 HO are more along the lines of higher light, so I would be following a full fertilizer schedule.
N, P, K
Traces, perhaps a little extra iron.
and carbon. (Excel is OK)

Hi Anthony,

Okay so I will just does the potassium and csm+b. Thank you.

This is my baby tank so it often has 300 or more Taiwan super reds, 20 or so baby cory's and 30 or more baby L144 plecos so I'm thinking I don't need to dose nitrate and phosphate, I feed small amounts 3 or 4 times a day.

This tank also has a eheim 2215 and a marineland slim 20 with eheim media and 2 sponges stuck into it instead of the usual white floss crap that they sell you at the local fish store, over and over again.

Also thank you Diane and Anthony for letting me know about the t5 HO lighting compared to others was not aware of this fact.

What do you think?
