Dry ferts question

Is there a difference between Potassium Nitrate (KNO3) and Potassium Sulfate (K2SO4)? Do they both dose potassium or does KNO3 dose nitrate as well?

Also, which would be a better deal - the Fertilizer Combo Pack (from Rex Grigg) or the PMDD Pre-Mix (from Aquariumfertilizer.com)?

KNO3 is mainly nitrates actually and potassium sulfate is for dosing potassium if you DO NOT already have enough from Mono Potassium Phosphate (mostly phosphate)

i believe so, whenever APC is back online, check the EI fert dosing chart. they have lots of info on the different ferts, requirements, and what the individual ferts do.
