high resolution pH test kit?
I have the API test kits. The resolution of the pH kit is pretty low. For example, one color means 6.0 and the next color means 6.4. We just ran a test, and the color is somewhere between 6.0 and 6.4. I'm trying to calculate dissolved CO2 levels, with the water having started at 6.6 with no added CO2, an after CO2 reading of somewhere between 6.0 - 6.4 is pretty non-conclusive.
Anyway, what brand of pH test kit has a higher resolution? Ideally, I'd like one that reads to the nearest 0.1, like 6.0, 6.1, 6.2, etc. Are any of the major-brand kits able to do this (seachem, red sea, tetra, etc.), or does it require a digital pH monitor to get a reading that precise?
