55 gallon fertz

I have a 55 gallon. 2- 54 watt t5 ho bulbs. I have a few plants in there and over time will hopefully have it close to heavily planted. Right now I'm only dosing excel everyday or every other day. What else do I need to start adding? My plants are about two weeks old and seem to be doing good but not really growing.

I would co sided that a fair bit of light with no co2. This could cause algae problem.

Dry ferts are your best bet.

Kno3
Kh2po4
Plantex Csm+b

These are what I dose. Look up ei dosing.

I do not have an algae problem but just a little. But I'm sure the excel helps with that. But I really have no idea about what ferts to use. Is the seachem products good? The iron, flourish, etc

First I have to agree with philip, that is too much light for a low tech 55 gallon. If you don't have algae problems now, chances are you will eventually.

As for ferts, for a low-medium planted non co2 tank Seachem Flourish Comprehensive once a week along with tabs for root feeders should be fine. If you notice deficiencies in your plants later (misshaped leaves, yellowing, spots, etc) then you can target those specifically.

Worth noting, low tech = slower growth. Plus you state the plants are only two weeks old, so they can still be adjusting to your tank. Once they do you should start seeing faster growth.
