While doing my weekly 25% water change I turned off my air stone. I forgot to restart the air stone after and when lights came on this morning most of the fish were at the top, so I restarted the air stone turned off the co2, and within a couple of minutes all fish were doing fine. Within in a couple of hours I now have cloudy water. So my question is can a overload of CO2 cause a bacterial bloom. What can I do to correct it. Will test water after I get home from work.
I used to keep an open mind but my brains kept falling out.
