co2 injection?

Hello all,
I will be setting up my 180rr with a CPR trickle filter soon and have a question about the CO2 injection. I will be controlling the co2 with a PH controller.
I would like to inject the co2 directly into the suction of my external pump to the display. Do you think this will provide a good amount of contact time? It is pumped up about 6' and then splits to two 3" wide Loc-Line nozzle's pointed down below the surface of the water. Of course after that the two surface returns water back to the trickle filter and sump. The returns are rated at 600gph each but I will probably only circulate 300 to 400 gph total.
Just trying to see if this would work or do I need to change something.

Thanks
Tony
