New tank conditions....

i am on week 3. I have done three water changes of close to 60%. Ammonia and Nitrite are now at 0 and < 0.3mgl. My water is still very cloudy (milky).

I am using amazonia II etc. Injecting CO2 and fertilizing. any ideas, is this still just a part of the cycle process.

My guess is yes- you're not done cycling until the ammonia and nitrIte stay steady at 0ppm even after PWC (partial water change).

OR you've got some AS sediment stirred up in your tank; which will eventually all fall out given time.

OR you're dosing your macros and micros together- the mix can sometimes cloud water

OR you've got an algae bloom going, perhaps from the excess ammonia released by the AS while it cycles- if you put something white in your water (a piece of plastic or whatever) is the water green?

I don't think it is the substrate suspended.

Not sure about hte macros and micros...

It is not green, rather just a white haze...pretty think however.

Probably just still cycling. It is just 3 weeks, so maybe a bit more...

My Nitrate is at 10 ppm. I cannot see that I have any type of algae problem. I do have about 6 chinese algae eaters, and 3 oto's. This is a 72 gal bowfront.

If you have someplace to move the otos during the tank's cycle you'll have better chances of keeping them alive; they're extremely sensitive to ammonia and nitrItes...

Sounds to me like just cycling; if you haven't finished planting this tank yet adding some fast-growing stems and/or some floating plants should help move things along.
