How much potassium from KHCO3?

A question for you chemistry proficient folks out there.

How much potassium in ppm is added to my w/c water with potassium bicarbonate?
I'm adding 2 tsp/50 gallons to raise kh.

I'm guessing here...

and according to wikipedia.
Molar mass 100.11 g/mol

and K is 39.10 g/mol

that's all i've gotten. I guess now, find how much a tsp weighs in grams.. ands then dissolve that in 50 gallons.

I don't remember exactly, but I once considered using KHCO3 and ended up didn't use it. I wanted to raise 4dKH, but based on my reading and calculation, I'd end up with way too much K, something close to 60ppm! Also, you will likely to have other problems with dissolving it too.
Treat KH separately using baking soda, and use K2SO4 for K probably is your best route.

Is it really that much? Can anyone confirm this? Dissolving it's not a problem. It dissolves quite easily. I'd just rather not add things you don't need (sodium) and use something that you're adding anyway, but if it really is 60 ppm to raise 4 dKH then I can see a potential problem.
