gel vs vegan gel caps?

what do you guys think gel vs vegan gel caps?

1 6 gallon
1 2 gallon 8" cube
1 10 gallon endlers tank
1 betta

Honestly, I would assume gelatin is safer to use than whatever vegetable/chemical substitute is used in vegan caps.

I used vegan caps the last time I made ferts and they seemed to take a bit longer to dissolve in water. It gives you more working time to bury the capsule before everything dissolves into mush.

At least that's what it seemed like to me.

Shouldn't make a difference. Gelatin vs. agar. Both should work, and both are safe.

One is animal bone (protein) based, the other is something that is extracted from seaweed.

I've eaten both (gelatin in stuff like Jello, but in Asia/Asian cuisine, agar is more popular).
