Chloramine and reverse osmosis

Hi,

The water facility here uses chloramine. The search about RO and chloramines (http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-11/rhf/feature/) revealed, that RO without DI might not be efficient method of removing chloramines (or ammonia). How do you treat chloramine containing water after (or before) 3-stage RO without DI?

A good carbon stage removes the chlorine before the membrane, leaving ammonia. Normally a DI will remove the remaining ammonia but you could use something like Amquel if there's no DI.
