Dosing Seachem Iron?

Iwas thinking of dosing iron in my tank as ihave a few stems that need iron supplements. Iwas going to get dry frets of iron but I would rather try seachem iron first then go from there. Would I just dose the correct amount when idose my micros?

Iron shouldn't need dosed too often. But I've used the liquid with no issues in the past. Root tabs are still generally Best, for iron especially. Dry ferts are cheaper, last longer and have less chance of starting algae outbreaks in the water column.

It all depends on the level of deficiency and other nutrients that you are dosing. If you're using trace macros then you shouldn't really need any extra iron. Also, depending on your substrate and how old it is, can dictate your levels of iron.

Unless your flourite is more than 3 Years old, you shouldn't need to add iron. Or many trace nutrients. Is it possible that it's a potassium deficiency instead?

If you're doing liquid potassium, it may not be getting to the roots enough for root feeders.
