EI mix for different tanks

Hi, i just received my dry ferts from a member of this forum. But i am a bit confused. I bough 2 500ml bottles in order to mix my micro and macro for easy dosing. I was wondering if theres a way that i can pre mix my solutions so that i can dose any of my tanks with the same bottles??

Thx in advance,

If the tanks are the same size, because you should use a fertilizer calculator which will give you the amounts of each fertilizer each size of tank will need. Say you have a 55 gallon tank, and a 40 gallon tank; Each tank requires specific amounts of fertilizers for them, so if you make a mixed solution for the 55 gallon tank, by dosing a 40 gallon tank with the same solution can lead to access nutrients in the 40 gallon and can lead to algae problems.

I make 2 mixes.

1) Macros- N, P, K, Excel
2) Micros- CSM+B, chelated iron, Excel

Dose all tanks a certain amount based on size (mostly) and plant volume (a couple of tanks). I use syringes (w/o needles) to measure each dose in ml.

Since I have a lot of tanks, a lot of gallons worth of dosing, I use two 2 liter bottles.
How to mix:
Put the amount of each powder you want for all the tanks for 2 weeks in the bottle.
Add some volume of water that makes dosing easy. Easy to figure out dosing: .5 ml per gallon of tank size, 1ml per gallon, 2 ml per gallon.
For me, to dose all the tanks 6 times in 2 weeks needs 2000 ml of water (2 liters)

More concentration means less dose per gallon, but do not make it so concentrated it will not dissolve. Less concentrated means there is more room for error, but you might not be able to mix enough fertilizer to last a long time.
