Not dosing potassium...separately..

I am trying to cut back on potassium and so I am planning not to dose k separately. Based on the fert calculator here http://rota.la/ I am dosing using a 500ml solution, mixing 59g of KNO3. I have 36g water volume. Per 10ml of KNO3, I am adding 3ppm of K. And 2ppm of K from my KH2PO4 (mixing 59g to a 500ml of solution and dosing 10ml). I am also adding about 1.25 teaspoon of Seachem Equilibrium. That amount alone would give me 9ppm of K!!!

Does this sound right? And anyone seeing any potential issues?

I agree with you that the K from other sources is plenty, no need to dose K as K2SO4 or other separate material.

It looks like you are dosing a lot of P, though. Usually the KH2PO4 is dosed at such a low level that the K is not significant. Most people do not want that much P in the tank. I think I remember the N:P ratio ought to be around 10:1.

Yeah, I need to get my phosphate level above 5ppm to keep the GSA under controlled. Otherwise, I would get really, really bad case of GSA very quickly.
