Cycled in a Day?

Recently put together a tank over the weekend. I decided to do a fish in cycle with Tetra Safe Start Plus. I seeded the filter with media from another tank along with some of the plants. I'd say I have medium plant biomass atm. I ran the tank one day then added TTS+ and a betta. Today I get the test kit out and I get 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 5ppm nitrates. Fastest cycle I've ever had if I can believe it.

Not sure I believe it. What types of fish do you have and how many? Could be that the seeded filter indeed handled a low bioload.

Keep testing, but I think you might have done it.

Well seeded media, plants, and pH/temperature amenable to rapid bacteria proliferation, all help. I did it in three days with TSS+, but not all these were factors were optimal for me. Should be possible to accomplish in a day. I'd test for a couple more days just to be sure. TSS+ seems to have more potent nitrite->nitrate bacteria than ammonia->nitrite, so if you do only one test, make it ammonia.

I've used safestart plus + and it cycled my tank overnight. Stuff definitely works if you get a bottle that's been handled properly. My water tested 0 ammonia and nitrates for 2.5 weeks straight since I was so skeptical that it would work so fast. I'd still test the water every couple of days though.

Well just an update. Tested again and now 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 0 nitrates; figure the plants are soaking this stuff up.

Sounds like it all came together just right for you! Yes, indeed, it is possible to be cycled right away.
The right bacteria from 2 sources (cycled tank & TSS+)
Plants.

As suggested above, continue monitoring, but I think you are right, the cycle is complete.
