RO/DI Buffering Confusion

I am having issues understanding how to get the correct buffiring for my RO water, Currently i have purchased Seachems Alkiline and acid buffers to try to get the desired PH and Kh. Ive read the directions on the bottles, but they have confused me more. Does anyone have any experience with these products??

Thanks.

I played around with trying to buffer water to a specific pH, and wasn't successful. The more stuff you have to add to replacement water to match what is in the tank, the more chances that you will not match it well enough and cause problems for the inhabitants of the tank. That's why using tap water is best, if it is good enough.
